Annual events of the J. Luce Foundation, often in cooperation with Orphans International Worldwide, include our Annual Leadership Awards Gala (Feb.), Summer Soirée for Orphans (July), Young Global Leadership Awards Dinner (Aug.), World Congresses (Oct.), and All-Holiday Party (Dec.).

• Leadership Awards Galas. Our galas have been held in a variety of locations including the United Nations, the Indonesian and Sri Lankan Consulates, The Americas Society, Bohemian National Hall, the Harvard Club, the Yale Club, and the National Arts Clubs. In 2013, our gala was hosted by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
   

• World Congresses.The first OIWW World Congress was held in Bali, Indonesia (2004), the second in Sumatra, Indonesia (2005), the third at Columbia University (2006), and the fourth at NYU (2008), devoted to the theme Health Needs of Children in Developing World. The next, World Congress V, is planned for Henry Luce Hall on the campus of Yale University for the fall of 2018.
