Executive Committee


Our Executive Committee, known as the 'Exec Team,' is a task-oriented global group that has met once a week in New York City art galleries, including Asymmetrik Gallery and Gallery RIVAA, since 2011.

Senior Members include Deepti Shukla (India), Abhinav Chintakunta (India), Meera Kajendrakumar (Sri Lanka), Mathew Luce (Indonesia), Ekua Musumba (Kenya), April Lauer Stone (U.S.), and Joey Vaughan (U.S.). Yu “Jeff” Guan (China) serves as Senior Team Leader. Junior Members include Thanh "Ethan" Dang (Vietnam), Haseeb Hassan (Pakistan/U.K.), and Richard Shi (China).

Graduates include Anastasiya Ganeeva (Russia), Ferhat Kleib (Indonesia), Liting Li (China), Sharmin Rashed (India), Zoran Saher (India), and Eliot Wuhrmann (France).

The Executive Team reports to the Boards of Directors of both OIWW and the Foundation. We frequently provide references and other support to the Team's gifted and caring members. The group is led by Team Director Jeremy Hu.

Abhinav Chintakunta represents the Executive Committee on the foundation's Board of Directors - see About Us - Our Team.


Thanh "Ethan" Dang is a member of the Executive Team of our foundation. He is currently a senior Mathematics major with a minor in Economics at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. As an international student from Vietnam, Thanh is passionate about global issues such as youth education and healthcare. In his free time, Thanh really enjoys playing soccer and reading Quora.


Jeff Guan is the Assistant to the President at the J. Luce Foundation. He has extensive experience in project management and leadership roles in the area of non-profit, he is also a senior member of the Foundation Endowment Investment Committee. He was awarded as the 2015 J. Luce Scholar. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Johns Hopkins University, and is working on his second master in Statistics. Jeff speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.



Haseeb Hassan is currently undergoing a cross cultural exchange program between the cities of London and New York. He was able to secure a Paralegal position at Capuder Fazio Giacoia LLP for a one year placement which involves extensive research, reviewing legal documents and maintaining relations with clients. He has recently joined the J.Luce foundation as a Junior Executive Committee member which involves volunteering at events for the foundation. Haseeb has graduated in BA Politics at Queen Mary University of London and LLB Law at the University Of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.



Meera Kajendrakumar is an undergraduate student at New York University majoring in psychology with ambitions to attend medical school. She was born in Sri Lanka and immigrated to America at the age of two. As a member of the Executive Board of our foundation, she has helped to organize annual receptions and has solicited letters of proclamations from higher officials.





Ekua Musumba is the definition of a multicultural girl on the executive team. Originally from Kenya, she attended the United Nations Internationale School for her High School Career. She is now attending the New School, Home to Parsons-School of Design and Eugene Lang-School of Liberal Arts. Her job responsibilities is on building the social media for J. Luce Foundation and participating in the on-going discussion of our Gala focus.





Josh Stauffer is a designer and filmmaker based in New York City. Born in Lansing MI, and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. In the past, has directed commercials & music videos for several companies and national recording artists. He currently works as a self employed designer and is happy to be a recent addition to our Executive Committee.


April Lauer Stone is a "Senior Associate" and member of the J. Luce Foundation Executive Committee. Her employment experience includes over 20 years in a Human Resource capacity at a Pharmaceutical Company. She is using her interpersonal communications and organizational skills to assist with annual events and receptions. She also attends meetings and press events to provide content for articles in The Stewardship Report.
