Dr. Bill Bauer is McCoy Professor in the Department of Education at Marietta College in Ohio where he also works closely with the McDonough Center for Leadership and Business. He holds Doctorate degrees in both Education and Rehabilitation Counseling, The Ohio State University, 2003; Master of Science in Counseling from Ohio State University and a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Ohio University. In 2012, Bill was a Post-Doctorate Fellow Ohio State University Medical Center-Nisonger Center focused on "Post-Secondary Transition Opportunities for People with Disabilities." He travels the country lecturing on mental health awareness, suicide prevention and the importance of developing programs for people with intellectual disabilities. 

Born in Lhasa, Tibet and raised in Northern India, Ben discovered his passion for painting at a very young age and decided to invest his time into mastering his craft. After studying traditional Tibetan Thangka painting at the Thangde Gatsul Painting School in Dharamsala, India, Ben completed a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Studio Art at Marymount Manhattan College in New York. This aspiring, talented artist is also dedicated to supporting young global leadership impacting social changes. He serves as a Global Advisor at The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, a New York-based nonprofit, and continues to mentor generations of the foundation’s young global leaders. See: Meet J. Working towards making health and wellness more accessible throughout the U.S. as founder and CEO of Baltimore-based health technology company, FitMango, Seal supports non-profits with marketing and branding services through his social media agency, Diamond Hook Media. He studied Electrical Engineering as a Bloomberg Scholar and Hodson Trust Scholar at Johns Hopkins University. Seal co-founded the World Youth Initiative, which generated tens of thousands of donations to support youth empowerment across the world. Matt was born in Manado, Indonesia, where the first orphanage of Orphans International Worldwide (orphansinternational.org) was located. He arrived in New York City at the age of two and remains fluent in both English and Indonesian – and studies Mandarin Chinese. He graduated from Legacy High School on Roosevelt Island and attends the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) where he dreams of culinary arts. He is the son of Jim Luce and the cardinal rule of Orphans International is named after him: That each child in care is treated the way one would treat one's own child ("Mathew's Rule"). Matt was a founding member of the foundation's Toastmasters Club and the New York Global Leader Lions Club. He frequently serves as office manager for the foundation.

Christopher is a leader and expert in EdTech, having had 6+ years experience working and managing across development, brand, and product at top global organizations. He has been recognized on Forbes 30 Under 30, PEOPLE Magazine’s “Heroes Among Us,” and as Luce Leader. Prior to founding Command Education Group, Christopher worked on building inspirED at Facebook in partnership with the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. Christopher is the recipient of President Obama’s Lifetime Achievement Award and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Yale University, where he studied psychology focusing on emotional intelligence.

Dr. Kazuko was born into a distinguished old family in Kyoto, Japan, and graduated from Toho conservatory of Music in Tokyo. In 1961 she came to U.S. as a pianist sponsored by the Boston Symphony. She studied at Boston University, New York University, and received her Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine from New York State University and the International Academy of Education in Tokyo. From 1968 to 1992, she promoted cultural exchanges from East to West and vice versa, and became a world famous impresario, producing 2,000 events each year all over the world encompassing over 140 countries. In this connection, in 1972, she went to Dharamsala to find the lost Tibetan Folk Opera, and met His Holiness the Dalai Lama, with whom she remains a lifelong friend. In 1973 and 1991 she arranged and funded personally the tours of the Folk Opera of Tibet to the West. She has received many medals and honors from different countries. Her tireless life long work in Philanthropic field is vast and well known ranging from Save the Beacon Theater, Save the Boat People, Help the Homeless, natural disasters of earthquakes and tsunamis, as well as relief to AIDS and HIV positive children in Africa. She has been a dedicated Board Member to both the foundation and Orphans International for years. Her work focuses on the Tibetan people; Tibetan children remain especially strong in her heart. She raised fund for the new academic building for Manjushree Orphanage in Tawang, India and supported many aspects of the school. Nigel is a journalist, writer and communications specialist. He was the first Communications Director of this foundation and served as Editor of The Stewardship Report. His work has appeared in print, online and broadcast media. Nigel's political reporting included coverage of the United Nations, the U.S. Congress, Georgia General Assembly and several local governments. The Georgia Press Association awarded him three first-place prizes for his reporting. Nigel was a ghostwriter and speechwriter for now retired U.S. Representative Ed Towns and other elected officials. Tony oversees the strategy, implementation, outreach and management of the education sector in J. Luce Foundation. He represents the fundraising and programmatic priorities of both Foundation and Government funders. Tony leads the preparation of letters of inquiry, concept papers, proposals, and reports, as well as development materials, in collaboration with various J. Luce Scholars and staff. He manages an active pipeline of approximately 70 institutional donors and prospects. In addition, he works closely with development research staff to identify, qualify, cultivate and solicit new funding prospects.

Our new chief creative officer, as an entrepreneur and creative person, believes in the power of the brand. Ngo must have its uniqueness, and can always keep up with the times and stick to its original intention. Mainly responsible for the foundation brand strategy, planning, and digital media design. She has extensive experience in product and digital versions, user experience, interaction, dynamic images, and publishing.
